Ken Yates (D. Min, Erskine; Ph.D., DTS) retired from the Army as a Lt. Col having served as a chaplain for over 20 years. He has pastored churches in Texas and South Carolina since retiring.
Ken is the editor of the GES Journal, heads up GES short-term missions teaching trips overseas, and is a regular contributor to the GES journal, magazine, blogs, and podcasts. He and his wife Pam have four grown daughters and three grandkids and they live in Columbia, SC. |

Kathryn has a master’s degree in Christian Studies from Luther Rice Seminary. She coordinates GES short-term mission trips along with serving as one of the teachers. She also teaches at women’s conferences and studies, is a regular contributor to the GES magazine and blogs. She and her husband Dewey live in Columbia, SC.
